A partire da questo mese il Convention Bureau Piemonte entra a far parte del Convention Bureau nazionale e così facendo aumenta le sue possibilità di presenza nel settore MICE. Dal canto suo il Convention Bureau Italia allarga il suo portfolio, portandolo a oltre 3,500 aziende.
Napoli Convention Bureau è entrato a far parte di Convention Bureau Italia e diversi nuovi membri arricchiscono il nostro ente, portando il budget iniziale ad un buon + 100%.
Enit sembra riconsiderare la cosa cercando di appoggiare il CBI con quello che può (ad esempio collaborazione Imex Frankfurt)
Per quanto riguarda lo staff a Tobia Salvadori e Francesca Sandri si è aggiunta Serena Zagni proveniente da una DMC della zona Rimini.

Colloquio Enit / Federcongressi&eventi dal quale risulta una certa garanzia che Convention Bureau Italia, attualmente in liquidazione, resterà aperto. PierLuigi Celli, attuale presidente Enit comunica che l’attuale convention bureau sarà partecipato al 100% da Promuovi Italia, che a sua volta è controllato da Enit. Celli ha manifestato il proprio chiaro intendimento di conservare l’attuale forma societaria (Società per azioni) del Convention Bureau, riportandolo sotto il controllo diretto dell’Enit, senza dunque trasformarlo in un semplice dipartimento dell’Agenzia. Resterebbe pertanto salva la presenza a manifestazioni internazionali importanti, come Imex e Eibtm.
Il Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’ENIT, nella seduta odierna, in vista della scadenza imminente del mandato del dr. Paolo Rubini, ha designato il nuovo Direttore Generale nella persona di Andrea Babbi, attuale Amministratore Servizi Emilia Romagna.Delegato dell’APT
il presidente di Federcongressi&eventi Paolo Zona così reagisce alle voci secondo cui sarebbe imminente la messa in liquidazione del Convention Bureau Italia, sotto la cui egida è coordinata la presenza del nostro Paese alla stessa EIBTM.
” Per vie non ufficiali ma degne della massima fiducia ho ragione di pensare che ci sia la volontà diffusa di mettere in liquidazione il Convention Bureau Italia, fortemente voluto da Federcongressi&eventi, che alla fiera EIBTM 2011 ha consentito alla nostra meeting industry di presentarsi alla platea internazionale dei top buyer con la stessa immagine coordinata, unitaria e razionale tipica sino a ieri solo dei nostri grandi concorrenti.
Pronuncio queste parole al termine di una lunga e costruttiva riunione con il
direttore generale del CB Italia Patrick Hoffnung e con parte del suo staff, durante la quale abbiamo condiviso le linee operative per il 2012. Non è eliminando la struttura che si risolve il problema degli sprechi e della mala gestione di cui è stata oggetto – cose che peraltro io fui il primo a denunciare in tempi non sospetti (venendo per questa ragione espulso dal Consiglio d’Amministrazione, sei mesi orsono) – perché in tal modo si butta via il bambino insieme all’acqua sporca”.
Dopo che Federcongressi aveva optato per un suo stand a Eibtm Barcellona 2011, Enit ha dato prova di coraggio abbassando i prezzi del suo stand a Euro 5,000 per espositore
Non è che gli associati Federcongressi siano contentissimi visto che 5,000 euro (IVA compresa) per un tavolino e due sedie non sono uno scherzo – ogni associato deve anche pagare viaggio, trasferta, vitto e alloggio – però evidentemente la buona voglia c’è stata ed ha sciolto le acque.
